green fiestaware bowl

So when Russell and I got married we registered for Fiestaware.  I loved all of the colors.  We originally registered for 4 colors.

Cinnabar (no longer online – color retired in 2010), cobalt, sunflower, plum.

Fiestaware releases and retires colors and products all of the time.

The original colors in 1936 were Red (this one was radioactive), Cobalt, Green (light), yellow and old ivory.

My one piece of the original red – like my photobomb?

Medium Green was released in 1959

Russell’s aunt loves flea markets and finding the old pieces for me!

This piece is old too – but I am not positive what it is

This china cupboard was my grandmothers – I love that I now have it and have it filled with beautiful things

This china cupboard was a gift for us when we moved into our home – it makes me happy too!

Finally this was Russell’s grandmothers – again – so nice that we can love and use these pieces in our home

This bowl is quite possibly my favorite piece. I love the color and the shape!

The Shamrock Hostess Serving Bowl is my favorite

My table set for Thanksgiving this year:

I love the disk pitchers and water carafes on the top of each cabinet

Do you collect anything?

I also have Blenko water bottles.  This started with the Cobalt blue one (first one on the left), which I received as a gift…now I have them all across the tops of my cabinets in the kitchen.

My sister in law collects Fiestaware, too. I get her pieces for Christmas.

Dawn – Thanks for the comment! Fiestaware is really great. My mom once got me a book where you can keep track of what you have – of course I haven’t kept track of that book – oops!
