Target Beauty Box 2016

February 22, 2016

I got my first Target Beauty Box.  I was so excited to finally snag one of these.  I have seen beauty gurus review these for the last couple of years, but never jumped on one.  Here is what I got.

If you want to be surprised, don’t read the card!

Soapbox Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Vitamins E & K and coconut oil work to gently cleanse, moisturize and thicken hair.  Looks like this company has a nice campaign of buying one and giving one, which is always nice.  From Target’s website: And for every bottle sold, a month’s supply of clean water is given to a community in need! #SoapEqualsHope

They have several “flavors” including argan, acai berry, and bataua fruit.  They also sell body washes.  I will look into those next time I need body wash.

Full size is $5.99 for 16 ounces so this value is. $.75 so $1.50 for both.

Lightweight yet deeply hydrating formula soothes and softens dry lips for immediate relief.

Well I am a lip product junkie so I will for sure report back on this!  This brand is new to me.  They sell other body care products and it looks like face products.  I would like to try one of their deep moisture creams.

This is full size – $4.99

Fresh, floral fragrance boasts notes of pear blossom, green tea, freesia, peony, orange blossom, and sandalwood for a light, modern perfume.

I like that this perfume sample has a spray…but am typically not big on perfume samples.  I just sprayed it on myself and it ok.  Not sure I would purchase this.  It isn’t offensive though.

Full size is 1 ounce and is $29.99.  This is .04 ounce and has the value of $1.20

5-in-1 cushion technology works to brighten, protect, cool, cover and prevent shine.

Cushion foundations are all the rage.  I have tried this before, not sure where or how I got a sample just like this one before.  I think it is great that they give a couple colors to try.

Full size is $34.00 and is only .5 ounces.  This sample is .21 – I don’t know if that is total for all of the samples or if each sample is so this value is $14.29!  Yeah ok – if any of you will pay me $14.29 for this sample I will gladly send it to you! I  think $34 is a ridiculous price for a drugstore foundation.  Heck so is $15 which a lot of them are charging these days.

Ultra-hydrating, vegan formula made with antioxidants, vitamins C & E, and aloe to moisturize and help defend skin from free radicals.

I have heard good things about this brand, and am excited to try it.  This sample size should be enough for several uses and a good amount to really form an opinion on.

Full size is 2 ounces and costs $25.99.  The sample is 1/2 ounce. $6.50

Creates instant root tease and build able body.  Lightweight mist formula offers a strong hold without weighing hair down.

My flat, thin hair – will give this a test!

Full size is 4.2 ounces and $3.99, this is full-size!

Deeply hydrating formula features a blend of shea butter, safflower oil and sunflower oil to nourish skin.

Well that sounds delightful.  My winter skin will give it a test and report back to you!  This brand is new to me, and I haven’t heard a thing about it.  They have sugar scrubs, bath salts and other bath/body products.

This sample is 1 ounce, full size is 5.5 ounces and retails at $8.99 – value $1.80

Nail polish strips offer a flawless manicure that lasts up to 10 days.  Peel, apply to nail, then file away excess polish.

Well they make that sound easy and delightful.  I have tried things like these before, and 10 days! LOL.  I will give it a try though!  Stay tuned for a nail post in your future!

This is full size and retails at $4.99

Sponge netting create rich lather in a perfect size for travel or the gym.

I don’t need to say anything about this one do I?

Full size and retails $1.99

You also get a $3 coupon.

Value: $44.25 (including the $3.00 coupon)!

Pretty good deal if you asked me.  I paid $7! Were you able to snag this box?

So I am a certifiable Beauty junkie – please check out these other Beauty recommendations.
