My husband and I have loosely been following the Eat To Live Program by Dr. Fuhrman for a while, and Clif Bars have come into our healthy snacks category. I haven’t checked with Dr. Furhman to see if he approves of this choice, but Clif Bars have been a staple for us. I have recently tried the Crunch version and we really like them. We have tried the Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and White Chocolate Macadamia. I am not sure which we like the best. We recommend them all. Hubby typically eats one with a banana for breakfast or has them as a snack. I only eat them when I am desperate for something, like I keep one in my purse -and if I am out and about starving to death – eating one of these keeps me from grabbing something like fast food. I will sometimes eat one on the way to the gym as well – since I typically eat dinner after the gym. I usually can find them at Target, some stores don’t have the “crunch” version.
