My favorite player of the week was Neal. Not only did he find the idol but he had two funny one liners also. Peter was working on Joe’s finger and you can hear Neal in the background, “Will the patient live?”. It must be kinda nice to have a doctor on your tribe even if he does have a massive ego. It would be nice to have cuts, scratches, etc. looked at by the doctor. However, didn’t it look like he was using a fish hook on Joe’s hand when he had a problem on the tip of his finger. I wonder what he was doing?
Also, while Jeff was bringing the new buffs around Neal asked, “Which do you recommend?” Just kinda funny! He seems to be a strong player that is getting along well and not causing a fuss. He worked fast getting the idol!
Everyone seemed shocked that they were switching tribes! Survivor always has a fun twist to the plan and this week was no different. The one random person that chose the red buff had to go to brawn beach by themselves and then they would join their new tribe at the next challenge to replace the person that was voted out. Julie chose the red buff.
When they showed her the next day on the beach I didn’t really understand a bit of what she was saying! She said something about being dehydrated, being a college student, being paranoid and some other stuff that I didn’t catch! One minute she looked down and out and then she looked just fine. I’m sure she will be glad to join the others. I don’t think playing solo is her gig.
Debbie didn’t announce any other careers this week. I’m bummed. She did talk about how ripped she was before the show!
She is still playing pretty strong and seemed to make friends with Cydney. We learned that Cydney went to an Ivy League school. They can be a powerful force if they stick together. I like them both!
Let’s talk about Scot’s man crush on Tai. It is so funny seeing their size difference!
Tai wanted a boost from him but I thought it was comical that Scot said he could just reach some of the mangos!
Peter was still running around the camp with a major ego. He could be likable but I think he needs to tone it down a good bit.
The challenge looked pretty hard bringing the fish in from the water. Scot is a machine and was just pulling it with one hand!
What I did notice this time was that tribes brought the larger containers of water to the challenges! Very smart considering everything that happened last week!
Debbie and Neal did very well with the puzzle challenge. Ultimately the tribe with Tai and Scot on it lost. Back at camp Anna knew the votes would be cast for either her or Tai. She irritated me talking bad about Tai being caught looking for an idol. I always consider looking for an idol a good thing. I think it’s lazy and crazy NOT to be looking for an idol. Tai told people about his idol but I’m glad Scot convinced him not to use it. In the end Anna was sent home. I think that was a good move.
If you missed the recap of last week check it out here! It looks like Joe and Peter have some sort of conflict in the preview for next week. My favorite players right now are Tai, Debbie, Cydney, Neal, Scot and Jason. The list is always evolving of course. Until next week…
