I ordered lots of these Survival Kits in a Sardine Can to give as gifts in addition to money and a card. I gave one to my son to put in his car and I have one in mine. It’s just kind of a fun gift and you never know it might actually come in handy one day! I think they make a nice graduation gift also. The kit includes: Acetaminophen, adhesive bandage, alcohol prep, antibiotic ointment, book matches, tea bag, chewing gum, compass, sugar, whistle, salt packet, energy nugget, duct tape, fire starter cube, wire clip, first aid instructions, fish hook & line, note paper, pencil, razor blade, safety pin, signal mirror, and waterproof bag. All packaged inside a sardine can.
My daughter received a Nesco Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator for her birthday this year. We have had so much fun experimenting with different foods. The dehydrator has excellent reviews and the cost is only $69.95. It is very simple to use. The temperature setting below is the only button / control / knob on the machine! It isn’t very big and comes with a book with lots of instructions for dehydrating different foods.
My favorites are the strawberries and the beef jerky! We were shocked at how easy it was to make very good beef jerky!
I love these Crocs Loretta Two Tone Sandals! They happen to be two of my favorite colors! They do come in other color combos though. (black/brown, white/light grey) The sandals are super comfortable. I walked about seven miles in them this weekend and my feet didn’t hurt one bit! They are about $25 so they don’t break the bank either.
