This week’s episode started out on Night 24! Amazing how the time flies from the comfort of my living room. This season will soon be over. Tai tried to talk to Scot about bringing the camp back together and extending an olive branch to the group.
Scot said that he didn’t want to come on Survivor to be the mean guy so he proceeded to talk to Aubry….like a mean guy! Dude! He thinks he is not telling her what to do but he most certainly is trying to tell her what to do. I love Aubry’s response, “It’s a lot to take in first thing in the morning!”
At the award challenge they presented something new yet again! Each individual was able to secretly pick if they wanted to compete for love letters from home, food or an advantage in the game. They only had to compete against the people who picked the same thing. Tai, Cydney and Aubry chose the advantage. Scot, Jason and Michelle chose food. Julie and Joe chose love. Julie beat Joe for the love letters from home. Nothing against my family at home but if I ever make it to survivor I will not pick love letters. I will pick either food or an advantage. If I haven’t eaten much in 25 days a letter doesn’t stand a chanced. Just saying.
Michelle beat Scot and Jason and won the food! Get that burger girlfriend!
Tai beat Aubry and Cydney for the advantage in the game. He won an extra vote at tribal council that can be used anytime until there are five people left in the game. He didn’t tell anyone about the advantage.
The immunity challenge looked so difficult! Check out all of the different poses they tried in order to find a comfortable position. Everyone looked like they were struggling except Cydney. She looked so calm.
Aubry kicked butt in this challenge. She gave Jason a run for his money. I loved it when he spit and then she spit also. Heck, she even did some sort of fancy pants dance also.
You know how some people cheer and scream when they are watching sports?! Survivor is my sport. I was cheering for Aubry so much and when she lost to Jason I was so bummed. At tribal she commented that she was spitting like a deranged llama during the challenge! She’s funny.
Aubry and Tai seem to get along well together and she was trying to talk him into voting for Scot. Julia wanted to girls to vote for Tai to flush an idol out. Tai tried to talk to Scot and Jason about working with Aubry. Scot just shut him down and blurted out that Aubry must go. He wouldn’t even let Tai finish speaking. It was Scot’s way or the highway. That might have been the tipping point for Tai.
When Aubry mentioned missed connections on Craigslist I had no idea what she was talking about! I had to look it up. I honestly had no idea this existed and I’m pretty “with-it”. 🙂 I’ll save you the hassle of looking it up in case you aren’t as “with-it” as you thought either!
Tribal council was exciting as always! Tai didn’t play his idol before the vote which confused Julia. Scot was voted out and turned to Tai for the super idol. He was met with a blank stare from Tai. Everyone had themselves a WOW moment!
Wow is right. I didn’t even realize until Scot was speaking during the credits that he left with Jason’s idol in his pocket! So it looks like idol’s were flushed for sure! It just wasn’t Tai’s like they expected. The super idol is gone and so is Jason’s idol.
These two besties will miss one another!
Mark made it another week! However, in the preview for next week Julie vows to eat him as soon as Tai is voted out. My favorite players are currently Aubry, Tai, Cydney and Michelle is working her way up the list also. Have a great week! If you missed the recap from last week, click here!
