Survivor Kaoh Rong Episode 11 – It’s a ‘Me’ Game, Not a ‘We’ Game

Survivor Kaoh Rong Recap

Tai felt really bad about betraying Jason and Scot at the previous tribal council and he wanted to talk to Jason about it.  I don’t think Jason was buying much of his story because he was still understandably bitter about losing his idol and his partner!  He wanted revenge! Although Tai felt bad he did comment about how the littlest guy took out the largest guy!

Tai also commented that he thought Jason would be so mad that he would ring Mark’s neck!

Early in the episode Julia did admit to playing both sides and after tribal her and Michelle were taken down a few notches. At the reward challenge they were paired up and Jason was the unlucky person not able to compete for the food.  He was not having a good day all around!

Tai and Joe were partnered together and competed well.  Joe was a good shot at getting the rings on the hooks.

Aubry and Julia did pretty well until they had to throw the rings.  They couldn’t get them on the hooks.

Cydney and Michelle did an awesome job and won the challenge.  Their reward was a helicopter ride to a remote little island for a nice lunch of fried chicken, wine, cole slaw and much more!

They were able to choose one more person to take and they both immediately agreed to take Aubry.  The three of them strategize and enjoyed the afternoon.  Michelle commented on her social skills and how she would rely on them throughout the game.  She is doing very well for sure!

I always have a hard time keeping up with the strategies of the game but the names that were thrown around this week were Tai, Jason and Julie.  I could see good reasons to vote out each one of them.  Everyone loves Tai and he has the advantage and the idol.  Jason is super strong and might be hard  to beat in challenges.  Also, Julia plays both sides well and she might be able to get votes in the end.

I thought Jason’s comment about Aubry telling Joe what to do and when to do it was funny.  It’s pretty true, at least from what we see.  I admire Joe for being 71 years old and still going pretty strong but he is no fun to watch.  I know he is smart and can think on his own but he isn’t doing it! He is flying so far under the radar that he just might make it to the end!

The immunity challenge looked so difficult but Jason did well in the water for sure.

In the end Michelle dominated the challenge!  She was able to memorize the numbers to pull ahead quickly.

How genius to think of putting sand in the little boxes and writing the numbers in the sand!  I wouldn’t ever think to do that.  Brilliant idea.  This was defiantly her episode to shine!!

Tribal council was good.  Jason did well stating his case.  At one point Tai asked Julie if he should play his idol!  It made me so nervous when he didn’t play it.  In the end it was Julia that was voted out.

The previews for next week show that the alliance is starting to crack.  We shall see. I can’t even begin to guess who might win. I would be happy with most of the players as winners though.  My current favorites are Cydney, Aubry, Michelle, Tai and Mark the chicken.

Have a great week!  If you missed last week’s recap, check it out here!
