This week’s episode started on night 32! Tai returned from tribal council completely confused about being on the outside of his alliance and also wasting his extra vote. Joe tried to explain that everyone just wanted Jason out.
Tai was most hurt by Aubry and they tried to talk things over. I don’t know that it went very well. Tai also tried to explain his feelings to Michelle which didn’t seem to go too well either!
The reward challenge was interesting because everyone had used up all of their shots and were just waiting on Joe to complete his turn.
Joe pulled off the big win on his last shot!!! He was excited but I think that everyone else was just as excited for him!
The reward was a day and night at the spa with food and a SHOWER!! Can you imagine how nice that must have been after 32 days? Joe chose Aubry and Cydney to join him on the spa trip!
As they were strategizing Cydney was down playing herself as a player hoping to fly under the radar a bit. That might have been the same time that Aubry was finally realizing that Cydney is an amazing player and might be a threat. I like Cydney’s comment about going along for the ride and she will be happy to win the million dollars when they get there!
Meanwhile back at camp Tai and Michelle tried to talk things through again. They even tried to be friends and try to find a way to work together. Michelle got a Tai massage.
What’s a week on Survivor without giving Mark some air time? I read some comments on social media this week and many people say that they should bring Mark to the finale and give him to Tai. We shall see.
After Joe, Aubry and Cydney returned from their reward Tai and Aubry went to get water and talk. I was really surprised that Aubry was able to win Tai over again. I thought it would be harder than it was. Tai seemed emotionally worn out so maybe that is why it was easy.
We pause here to highlight Aubry’s awesomely awkward dance moves!
Joe on the other hand was not having such a good day. He was having medical issues that seemed to get worse and worse. He is a tough guy and was probably hurting way worse than he was showing.
The pain eventually got too bad and he didn’t want to risk causing future medical problems so they removed him from the game. I believed him when he said that he has many more adventures ahead of him.
Everyone was sad for him to leave because they really like him but also it messed up their game plan.
We are down to the final four. I can’t even predict how this may end.
I like all of the final four and would be happy if any of them won. They all played a great game in their own individual ways. Until next week….
If you missed that week’s recap it is here!
