It is always bittersweet when Survivor ends. I love to see who wins but I also hate to give up one of my favorite shows for months! After Joe left last week the episode began with the four trying to sleep in but Mark wanted no part of that! Tai was smart enough to get Mark out of his hammock and take him down to the beach so the others could sleep. Mark is the real winner this year! He survived and was set free at the end of the episode. Cheers to Mark!
The reward challenge was won by Aubry.
She struggled at the end with the matching game and the combination but she pulled it off and won! She picked Cydney to join her for a nice meal.
Meanwhile back and camp Michelle and Tai were left alone again and used their time wisely to discuss strategy.
The immunity challenge was so complicated! I’m glad Jeff kept calling out directions because there was a lot to remember!
Aubry was doing very well for most of the challenge but Michelle came from behind working with the puzzle. Both Michelle and Tai did well on the puzzle but Michelle worked a bit faster pulling off the big win!
She looked so proud of herself! Good for her, she did really well.
At tribal council it came down to a fire challenge between Cydney and Aubry. Sydney just couldn’t get her fire going and Aubry won that contest.
I really did like all four people who made it to the end. Cydney played a great game also so I hated to see her leave. Very rarely do we see Jeff wearing a shirt that isn’t blue but here he is wearing green!
Tai was observant enough to realize that Jeff didn’t announce that they were the final three and he felt like there would be another challenge. He was right! There is always a new twist in Survivor. The winner of the challenge was able to vote out one member of the jury. Michelle won again!
She voted out Neal. It was a smart move on her part because Neal was sure to vote for Aubry. He sure was not pleased with her decision and let her know about it! Meanwhile Jeff’s laundry was done and he is back in blue!
The next morning the final three enjoyed breakfast and they received a mirror and a scale. They spent the remainder of the day preparing for their big night at tribal. I don’t usually like to listen to all of the questions but this season they seemed to move rather fast.
The winner of Survivor was Michelle! I was surprised that Tai didn’t get any votes.
This was a great season for sure. I really liked a lot of the players.
The preview for next season looks great! Thanks for checking out the Survivor recaps and I will be back for the next season! If you missed last week’s recap check it out here!
