Recently I had lunch with my co-workers at bartaco in Inman Park. One of my co-workers dines there often and highly recommended it. I completely understand why! It is lovely!!
The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The outdoor patio is beautiful with the fireplace and hanging baskets. It’s summer in Georgia so obviously there is no need for the fireplace right now…but they are prepared for the summer also with rolling AC units for the patio. Nice!
The atmosphere is very laid back with folded paper menus and a unique way to place your order. It felt like a mini-golf score card but I liked it.
You simply write each name at the top of the ordering card and put how many items you want and total it up. There is a blue card that you place on the table when you need something. The system works very nice and every employee was super efficient.
The food was so good! The salsa is excellent so be sure to order the chips and salsa! I was expecting regular chips like most restaurants but these are big round chips. I like it.
I ordered the grilled corn with lime, cayenne, and cotija. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and order this.
I also ordered the chicken tacos. They are good also. Actually, everyone loved their food. Between all of us I think we tried almost everything on the menu and everyone was happy!
It should be to no surprise that I ordered dessert also. Is any meal complete without dessert? No. No, it’s not. Where is the picture of the dessert? Good question my friend. My love of dessert is greater than my love of taking food pictures for the blog. The dessert didn’t even see me coming for it. I ordered the spiced chocolate pudding. It was in a cute little jar and was as adorable as a jar of pudding could be. My friend had the key lime pie in a jar. Good reviews for that also!
I can’t wait to go back to bartaco and take my family. There are locations in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia. If there is one near you I would totally give a try! I think you will love it! While you are in the Inman Park area be sure to check out the Atlanta BeltLine!
