Empties, Would I Purchase Again?

July 11, 2016

I have seen many “empties” videos on YouTube and really like the idea.  I will start a series for the blog “Empties, would I purchase again?”  I will review the product and tell you if I would buy it or again (or often if I have already purchased again).  Please let me know if you enjoy these posts in the comments below.

First up, Origins Drink Up.  I have purchased this over and over again, and will continue to do so.  I don’t ONLY use it as an overnight mask, I have been known to put it on in the morning, if my skin is dry.  If I used this regularly, maybe every other night, then I wouldn’t need to do that.  I see the information from Sephora’s website says you can use it for shaving too, I may try that!

What it is:
A luxurious nighttime mask to quench skin’s thirst.

What it is formulated to do:
Skin depends on water for its youthful functioning. But all day long, skin loses vital moisture and the busier you are, the more it loses. This intense moisture replacement mask with avocado and apricot kernel oil deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves and builds a reservoir for tomorrow. Best for dry skin types, Japanese seaweed repairs skin’s barrier to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature aging.

What else you need to know:
Drink Up™ Intensive Overnight mask to quench skin’s thirst is a versatile product, and is great for travel, shaving, and dry body patches like elbows and knees.

Next up Clinique Moisture Surge  hmm, I am detecting a theme.  As you can see this was a product that I actually cut open to make sure I get EVERY LAST DROP.  I would and have purchased again!

What it is:
A creamy, oil-free facial mask that helps skin drink deep overnight for a soft, dewy glow by morning.

What it is formulated to do:
This rich, penetrating night mask helps skin drink deep to replenish lost moisture, building reserves for tomorrow. Recommended for all skin types, it soothes and nourishes to help skin stay hydrated all night long, allowing you to wake up to soft, dewy, glowing skin.

So apparently, my skin isn’t the only thing that needs extra moisture.  Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque.  This is another product, I have already repurchased many times!  If you are lucky you may even find this at stores like TJ Maxx or Marshalls!  I do believe the packaging MAY have changed.  This always makes my hair smell and feel amazing!

Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads are the final product for this post.  This is something that I have repurchased, and will continue to do so!  Let’s face it, sometimes I am lazy and don’t want to wash my face or use my Clarisonic.  These are handy and get eye make up in a snap.  Sometimes I find makeup cleansing cloths don’t do so well with the eye makeup.  Yeah for a drugstore product making my list.  Be sure to watch when they are on sale.

Do you have any empties that you repurchase over and over again?  Check out some of my other beauty product reviews here!

Great product reviews! Lots of them sound great. I can’t use those Almay eye make up remover pads. They burn!!

I do have to be careful with the Almay ones, but if I keep my eyes closed (Duh) i don’t have problems with them. I really just like the convenience of them, vs. all the work of getting a cotton pad and using Neutrogena eye makeup remover 🙂
