27 Hour Girls Trip Finale At Der Biergarten and Ria’s Bluebird

We were finishing up our taco tour at Bartaco in our last recap.  Uber to the rescue again.  Really, let’s just have a moment and talk about Uber.  It’s genius and it has yet to fail me.  A simple request on the app and someone is there within minutes.  Love it.  We decided to head to Der Biergarten since that is where we wanted to go earlier in the day but we were just left hot and rejected on the street corner.

We didn’t order a meal since we had literally just eaten so we ordered drinks and a pretzel.  Not realizing of course that the pretzel was the size of the table and a meal in itself.

I asked Holly to pick my beer since she has been living in Germany and knows her stuff.

My drink is the one on the left and Holly’s is the other one.

Kerry and Kendra had the Bavarian Punch with Blackberry Liqueur, Bacardi Rum, Apple Schnapps, Cranberry and OJ.

How is it that two out of six restaurants had these stand behind things?  I never see these in restaurants.  Maybe they put them out for our whirlwind food tour?  Making memories.

The restaurant had a pretty great patio.

Did we call Uber to actually take us to the hotel at midnight?  No.  That would make too much sense.  This time we decided to walk.  We spent some time at the hotel pool and headed to the room.

Ria's Bluebird

How on earth we woke up hungry is beyond me.  But some of my hobbies include eating and thinking about eating so I really shouldn’t be surprised. With a quick Google search from bed we all decided on Ria’s Bluebird for breakfast!

The restaurant is small but has a cute little outdoor patio.

Kendra and Holly both ordered the brisket with poached eggs.

Kerry ordered the breakfast burrito.  Oh my goodness.  The salsa on the top was so good!!

I forgot the name of my breakfast but it could possibly have been called “one of everything”.

Ria's Bluebird

Yes, including a chocolate chip pancake on the side of “one of everything”.

Hard to believe that this concludes our awesome girls trip.  It was a quick one but we managed to see a lot of places (restaurants) and do a lot of stuff (eat).  If you know of a great city that we need to visit, let us know!
