I think people really enjoyed my first Empties post, and I have some more!
First up is Blueberry Extract. My husband is the one who did research on this and we have been taking it for a couple of years. You can buy it at Costco or Amazon. We have repurchased this several times, and will continue to do so.
From their website:
Blueberries have been identified as a superior source of antioxidants. In fact, the United States Department of Agriculture tested 24 varieties of fresh fruits, 23 vegetables, 16 herbs and spices, 10 different nuts, and 4 dried fruits and determined that blueberries scored highest overall in total antioxidant capacity per serving.
Antioxidants are critical to supporting your body’s fight against free radicals, the harmful byproducts of cellular metabolism that can contribute to cell damage and aging.
You may remember Crystal and I went to Johnson City a couple of months back. Check out the posts here. Anyway – I brought some fabulous beauty products with me…We both gave these masks a try. My sleeping mask I used about 5 times!
Crystal used the Rose (Provides deep moisture and brightening properties through natural rose extract) set and I used the Honey (Nourishes and balances to soothe and refresh dry or sensitive skin) set. As you can see all are available through Sephora, I bought these in a set last year around the Holidays. They are fun and worth giving a try. I would repurchase, and there are others that I would like to try from the Sephora line.
Next up are these Oxi Clean laundry paks. I got a new washer and dryer not long ago, and there has been a definite learning curve to getting clothes clean! You know it is one of the low water machines…but these have seemed to really help. I will say before this new washer I could just toss the laundry in and it always was clean. But this new machine – I have to really go through Russell’s work clothes and pre-treat just about everything. All for the sake of the environment! I would use another laundry detergent pak and throw one of these in too. I would repurchase.
I buy these from Amazon, but have seen them at local stores too. I like to drop a few drops in my water, but honestly am moving away from using these. They really did help me drink more water though! I have tried orange, and lemon as well – and both were good.
I picked this Whoosh up from LUSH while in Las Vegas last year, it was nice and all, but I doubt I would repurchase. It always left a mess in my shower. (Please ignore my hideous manicure!) From their website:
Looking for the drive to help you take on the world? Let Whoosh shower jelly sort out your cloudy, sleepy, head and give you a boost to wake you up. Our triple-citrus wobbly wash gets you squeaky clean with its invigorating and energizing blend of fresh lemon, lime, and grapefruit juices. And just in case your mental faculty is really struggling, we’ve thrown in revitalizing rosemary and balancing geranium to kick-start your senses even more. What are you waiting for? Rise and shine and get in the shower – the world is yours and the day awaits!
Here is another supplement from Trunature. We have taken this over and over, but I feel like there are better products out there to get COQ10…and will be giving those a try.
I am a sucker for Bath and BodyWorks, and especially their foaming soaps (although I did recently see that they have a new kind “nourishing” or something). Anyway, here are two that we finished up this month. We liked both, and would re-purchase both.
On Guard softgels, I have shared these with you in favorites, we finished up another bottle. I now purchase them off of Amazon, and we like to take them especially prior to, during, and right after travel. I always pop a couple if I feel like I “might” be getting sick. I would re-purchase.
Ocean Salt – Wow – I have shared this with you all before, and even did a whole post on it. This stuff is amazing. I will always have a back up – and thankfully, I did when this one was emptied! I wonder why VODKA is the key ingredient that just jumped out at me! I have seen recipes on pinterest to make this stuff, but really, why bother, Lush does it so well!! Russell and I both love this stuff!
Finally, Ole Henriksen’s Foaming Face Wash. I don’t know if I have shared this with you before or not. But I seriously love this stuff. I think I first tried this in one of Sephora’s sample sets that they do every so often – you know where you can try several different products. I think it was one of all Ole Henriksen’s stuff, but honestly don’t recall. I love this, and have repurchased several times and will continue to do so. This was my first full-size one though – I often pick up the travel size – because they last so long! I have tried to find similar products at the drugstore, and, haven’t been successful yet. From their site:
What it is:
