How about the location of Survivor this season! Let’s just take a moment and admire the beauty before we get into the recap.
It would be nice to win Survivor but if you don’t win at least make it to Ponderosa so you can spend some quality time with this view.
I don’t hate this view. Don’t hate it at all, but we have to talk about the game!
David redeemed himself a bit this week by starting fire! Also, he went out to “look for rocks” to sit on and while he was there he looked for an idol. At least this week he was savvy enough to play it off by looking for rocks.
He actually found an idol. I didn’t know if he would ever be able to open it but he did! Later in the episode he had a bonding moment with Ken and shared the news of the idol. Ken and David are an unlikely pair but if they play their cards right, they may go far.
Ken, David and CeCe all want to vote Paul out at the next tribal. Speaking of Paul, he had a health scare and the medic team was called in. I thought he was having a heart attack but I think they said it was dehydration. He did well in the challenge though!
Gen-X did well at the challenge and pulled off the win!
Meanwhile over at the Millennial tribe Taylor had his love goggles on. At least his friend Jay had enough sense to try to tell him NOT to date on the game. Power couples don’t make it he kept saying. Taylor kept those love goggles on though!
I’m still not sure of what the problem is between Michaela and Figgy. Michaela called Figgy out for kissing in the shelter but I’m not sure how that turned into a fight. Still confused.
The Millennials walking into tribal council was amusing and strange. They were all looking around with such amazement. I’m sure it is amazing, I don’t doubt that but it was like they have never seen anything like it. I just find it odd out of all the seasons of Survivor they were the most bewildered group walking into tribal. Over and over they kept referencing how “real” it was and how people’s real feelings are involved. Also, how looking into people’s eyes is so different than being on a computer in the two dimensional world.
During the entire tribal council Michelle was seriously working on Hannah to change her vote. Michelle is now one to watch for sure. She convinced Hannah to change therefore keeping Figgy there. She will be a strong player for sure.
Hannah was so confused casting her vote, I think she took a serious amount of time to do so!
Mari was voted out. She would have been a very strong player had she stayed in the game. The previews show some sort of shake up for next week! If you missed last week’s recap, check it out here.
