For dinner on the first night we were on Cape Cod we ordered from The Knack and had some fun family time.
I had heard about The Knack through my mom’s Facebook posts! They have good burgers, fish sandwiches, tacos, ice cream sandwiches, lobster rolls, onion rings and fries! Well I didn’t really try all of that – but that is what I hear!
My sister and Russell and I had taken a flat walk earlier that day, and we were hungry. OK, we weren’t really – but you know when you are on the Cape you eat good food!
My other sister and her husband and their sons joined us for dinner along with my mom! (note to self take more pics!)
Here is what we ate
From their menu: crispy fried haddock, lettuce, house made pickles, homemade tartar
It was so good – hard to eat but so good!
From their menu: avocado, caramelized onions, cheese, burger sauce
Yes please!
From their menu: burger sauce, choice of lettuce, tomato, red onion, and house made pickles
The house made pickles and burger sauce was so yummy!
From their menu: pickled red onions, house made pickles, roasted jalapeños, cheese, spicy mayo
We also had fries and Chicken fingers – no pictures? One of the boys had a hot dog – again no picture! The chicken tenders were so good – do yourself a favor – try them!
Finally dessert.
So, The Knack makes their own ice cream sandwiches. Again – do yourself a favor! We ordered 4 for the whole family (8 people) and only ate 2 that night – that’s ok we made quick work of the last 2 the next day while playing cards! We had 2 chocolate and 2 vanilla and really the key to what makes these soo good is a sprinkling of salt on the cookies! According to The Knack website, they donate a portion of their dessert sales to charity. One of my nephews had a chocolate shake, that he made QUICK work of – so again no picture!
The pictures of all of that great food really don’t do it justice. If you are on Mid-Cape give The Knack a try!
