To no surprise there was another good episode of Survivor Millennials vs Gen-X! After the millennials returned from tribal council Hannah so desperately tried to talk to Zeke and Adam about her vote against Mari.
I’m being honest here, I would not have been as nice as Zeke and Adam were. How many times did they have to say to Hannah to please wait a little while to talk. At least ten…and that’s what they had time to air. Hannah has fallen so far down on my likable list right now. First of all, stop talking. Secondly, I do think she was trying to sound like a victim. My personal opinion is that she wanted to be with the “cool” kids of the game. She has described herself as nerdy or something similar on episode one or two and I think it didn’t take much to sway her to the “cool” kid alliance. I’m still a big fan of Adam and Zeke on this tribe. I also like Jay because I think he has his head in the game more than I thought he would after episode one.
He made the statement that Taylor and Figgy don’t need to act like a couple at the summit because the Gen-X tribe will think they are crazy for keeping a power couple in the game.
They picked random rocks and four people from each tribe went to a neutral beach for a summit. They were able to talk to the other tribe and get information and build possible future alliances. I think David and Taylor hit it off and CeCe made it clear to everyone that Paul was the “leader”.
Although it was not mentioned, did you notice that David and Taylor were shuffling through everything on the table while they were talking and everyone else was at the beach. My thought is that they were looking for a clue to an idol which they sometimes do when food is brought it. If they were looking, it was very smart of them.
Adam tries to explain to Hannah and Michaela the dynamics of the alliance on the tribe and I think he was trying to tell the two of them that they would be on the bottom of the seven. By the way…I wouldn’t have guessed that Adam would have plaid underwear. Kinda snazzy.
Meanwhile the power players are chilling on the beach.
Gen-X lost the immunity and reward challenge. The reward was pretty nice but the Millennials asked if they could have fishing gear instead. It was put out to vote and the Gen-X tribe said no to that.
The Gen-X tribe were all very mad at CeCe for taking so long to get over the balance beam. They thought she should have dropped the bag and let someone else carry it for her. For that reason, she was the one that the majority alliance was going to vote out.
During the challenge Jay and Ken both did a very good job at knocking down the blocks for their tribe.
Before tribal council Paul made a comment to Jessica that irked her and the other women in the alliance and ultimately made them switch their vote.
Paul was voted out.
I really like Ken on the Gen-X tribe. Now that the majority alliance has been shaken I think David, CeCe and Ken have a much better chance. The season is really started to heat up and I love it. Let me know your favorite players! If you missed last week’s review, check it out here!
