Coming back to camp after tribal council I think David realized that he used his idol to save someone that nobody wanted to work with and was a bit nervous. Jess apologized to Ken for not trusting him and she told him about her advantage that she had found so I think those two are back on good working terms.
The Gen-X tribe openly had an idol search party but David was the only person that knew to look for the tribes design on something.
He spotted it on a log and was able to wait until CeCe and Sunday went away before he got the idol.
Instead of an awards challenge they swapped tribes! Everyone had to drop their buffs and pick a new color. They were creating three tribes. The green tribe had to go to a new beach and start from scratch. They had an extra member to help with the workload.
Michaela was visibly pissed about being on the new tribe. The Millennials have the numbers in this new tribe for sure.
The orange tribe has more Gen-X members. Even though Zeke and Michelle are both Millennials they never worked together on the previous tribe.
The love birds ended up staying together much to the relief of Taylor. I think he has forgotten about the game and has focused more so on Figgy. It’s a good thing that Ken and Jess bonded again since they are the only two Gen-X members on this new tribe.
Jay and Bret had tried to get the fire going on the new green tribe but had no luck. Michaela gave it a try and succeeded! She was so proud of herself. She went off into the woods by herself and had a good cry. When she returned everyone was cheering and thanking her, it was pretty nice. I know they must all be thankful for the fire!
Taylor is very bummed when Figgy tells him that they can’t act like a couple. He doesn’t think it’s a big deal! Adam bonds with Ken a bit and Ken makes it clear that they are willing to work with him!
Zeke and Chris realize that they are both from Ohio and Chris is one of Zeke’s college football heroes. They are willing to work together!
At the challenge David struggled with the buoy so much that someone on his team wondered if he was throwing the challenge!
Ce Ce also struggled with the swimming portion and went very slow.
Michaela was incredible during the challenge. She was the only person that threw the buoys and I think she made every one of them. They won!
Ken was throwing for their tribe and they came in second!
Before tribal council there were talks back and forth of who they would vote out. Michelle tried to work with Ce Ce but with no luck. Ce Ce was voted out of the game. I really liked her but I think her performances in the challenges didn’t help her stay in the game.
My favorite players right now are Zeke, Ken, and Jay. I think the strongest players are Chris and Michaela. They seem to dominate physically. I think the best strategic player is Michelle. David has the most luck and Figgy is the sneakiest. If you missed the recap from last week, check it out here!
