Breakfast on Cape Cod

November 1, 2016

Russell and I visited my family on the Cape in August to celebrate my mom’s 30th birthday!  (30 x 2 + 10)  I hope you have checked out the other posts here, here, and here.

My family rented a house from their church for us to stay in.  We have stayed there once before and it is a great house.Cape Cod ~ www.fabulousindeed.com

Our room overlooks the marsh.

My sister had our kitchen stocked up with homemade whole wheat bread and eggs from their chickens.  I made yummy scrambled eggs and toast!  Who needs to go out to breakfast?  Not us!

We then walked down to the beach to see it when it wasn’t flats!

That is where we had walked the day before when the tide was out!

The house had this great screened in porch.

We had lunch here (stay tuned for another post) and then Russell and I taught my sisters and BIL how to play hand and foot.  I may have gotten them hooked!

You can see my adorable “nephew” Jasper in the picture above.  (my sisters’ family dog) I made some great dog friends on this trip!
