I wanted to share with you all my latest Lush Haul! A lot of my items are Christmasy items, and you may or may not know, Lush typically has a buy get one sale on Boxing day 12/26! So I thought you might get some ideas on what you could buy in that sale (the sale is in store and online typically!)
Now don’t judge me, I got a lot! But I haven’t made a lush purchase in about a year! In fact probably since my order last year on Boxing Day!
I will show you all of the non-Christmas items first.
Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub
Refreshing, exfoliating, hydrating…what doesn’t this scrub do? Our cult classic scrub has a mineral-rich mix of fine and coarse sea salt for serious exfoliation, balanced with coconut oil and avocado butter to soften the skin. That punchy citrus scent? It comes from lime oil as well as limes extracted in vodka to brighten and tone. Just one scrub with this beauty and you’ll see why it’s so popular!
Salted Coconut Hand Scrub
When I was on the Lush site, I noticed another scrub and decided to try it too. Salted Coconut. How good does that sound?
This is marketed as a Hand Scrub.
This creamy coconut scrub is the perfect way to keep your hands in tip top condition. One small scoop will brighten skin with fine sea salt and fresh lemon infusion, while softening at the same time with cupuaçu butter, argan and extra virgin coconut oils. Your hands will be left feeling silky, moisturized and perfumed with a delicious coconut fragrance that will have you hooked.
It really smells good, but honestly not a ton like coconut. It gets great reviews on their site. I think Russell and I will both enjoy this with Winter here.
I didn’t want to leave my feet out and saw this gem.
This scrubby soapy bar will break down that tough second skin. Pumice powder exfoliates away dry, dead skin and brightening sweet orange oil refreshes and rejuvenates from heels to toes. It’s simple to use; soap and scrub in one simple motion, then rinse for wonderfully soft, refreshed feet. We pumice you’ll notice the difference!
I haven’t tried it yet, but you know I will report back.
Another repeat purchase
Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter
I posted about this before here. I use this on my feet and hands and it takes a long time to use up! I think this might be my 4th tub of this.
I do believe the rest of the haul is Christmasy Stuff.
Snowie Bubble Bar
I see this is out of stock now, so you won’t be able to get it during the sale, unless you can find it in a store.
This hazy cosmic jive of bright, tangy grapefruit and neroli will take you far away from it all. Don’t blow it; simply crumble under running water. In a flash, glam sparkle and oodles of bubbles will burst forth, making you feel like one of the world’s biggest stars. The exquisite fragrance of rose oil provides delicate, floral sophistication, freezing the troubles of the outside world. Let your body boogie.
I haven’t used it yet, but will report back. I typically get 5 or 6 baths out of a since bubble bar. I have heard this is in honor of David Bowie or something, though I forget where I heard that.
Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Ohmygoodness, I love this scent. I could do without the sparkly glitter, but I will deal with it!. I have the powder from last year (I got buy get one).
Oh how we’ve missed lathering up in those fluffy pink bubbles! We crave Snow Fairy’s bubblegum and sweet vanilla fragrance all year, and just can’t imagine the holidays without her. Our famous fairy contains a smattering of biodegradable shimmering luster (or as we like to call it, Fairy Dust), so she won’t harm the earth one little bit. And this year, Snow Fairy’s formula has been expertly rebalanced to be totally self-preserving, so no synthetic preservatives are required.
The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar
How cute is this little guy?
When it’s really chilly, Antarctic birds of a feather stick together in big, cuddly huddles. When there’s no one around to hug, a bath with this penguin will keep you feeling toasty. Our endearing little penguin might be flightless, but give him a crumble under the tap and blankets of foam will soar out and transform your bath into a frothy landscape of blue and white crests. What’s more, Sicilian lemon and mandarin oils combine with sweet bergamot to give your mood a cheery citrus boost.
Never Mind the Ballistics Bath Bomb
These aren’t ingredients for anybody else except yourself. Lime and sweet wild orange oils are fresh and peachy on the nose, exciting the senses and shaking up your mood. There’s no time for apathy in the bath, so this anarchic bath bomb fizzes and rolls and spews color with a no-holds-barred energy. Fair trade cocoa butter melts alongside fresh bananas to soften both the water and your skin. You’ll want to put this one on repeat.
This really smells delightful.
Santasaurus Reusable Bubble Bar
Even dinosaurs get caught up in the festive spirit, but don’t ask us how this T. rex managed to get that Santa hat on its head with those tiny arms: we don’t know either! Scented with our scrumptiously sweet Honey I Washed The Kids perfume, this reusable bubble bar is sure to keep you smiling from the very first time you swish it around.
I don’t get toffee when I smell this, but it smells yummy! They have this one designed to swirl in your tub or under the faucet and then reuse it for another time (or 2 or 3…you get the idea). As I have told you – I get several baths out of every bubble bar, mostly because if I didn’t my room would FLOOD with bubbles, since we have Jacuzzi jets.
Peeping Santa Bubble Bar
How could I pass this guy up?
Take one look into Santa’s adorable chocolate chip eyes and you’ll see why we had to bring this Santa back for another Christmas! With a layer of hydrating butters in the middle and a mouth-watering strawberry perfume, you’ll have to restrain yourself from taking a chomp out of this bubble bar. Save him for the bath instead: we promise you’ll enjoy him much better in the tub than in your tummy.
He smells yummy too!
So White Bath Bomb
A Christmas favorite, So White is back again to bring the crisp, fresh aroma of a juicy apple to your tub. Pop it in the bath and watch it fizz, releasing softening baking soda and the uplifting oils of bergamot and neroli. The white exterior slowly gives way to a secret green center that fizzes and foams, creating a snow-like froth that covers your tub in a glorious blanket of apple-scented bubbles.
This smells really good, but doesn’t really scream Christmas to me, but it is listed as Christmas on their site.
Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint
There’s no time to be a shrinking violet when your mouth is all magenta. Kalahari melon and organic jojoba oils moisturize your pucker and add intense, party-ready shimmer. Tantalizing sweet wild orange oil imparts a scent as delicious as ripe berries, though once you get the party started with this one, your mouth will be the last thing on your mind.
This may get returned, I am not sure I really like it. First of all this is what it looked like when I opened it. There was no seal or anything.
Then I swatched it on my hand, and it is all chunky.
I did put it on my lips, and I am just not flipped on the color. It was $10 – so I may return it if I can get to a store….
That is my haul! Shew. I would like to pick up the Snow Fairy Body Conditioner in the sale – if it is there 🙂 Have you tried their body conditioners? They are really nice. It is like conditioner for your body and you put it on your body in the shower and then rinse off, and your skin feels so soft afterwards! Otherwise I am good to go and won’t be picking anything else up from the sale (of course assuming they have it!
