I promise there will be a non-TV post tomorrow!!!
Here we go with Episode 2!
Chris tell us that there are 2 group dates and 1 one on one this week, and he eludes to people being there for the “right reasons”.
Group Date #1
Dean, Jack, Jonathan, Blake, Iggy, Kenny, Fred, Lucas
“I’m looking for husband material!”
They walk in and Rachel is BBQ’ing. They then play football…Rachel says she has some friends coming and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Apparently, they are big fans of the show and Rachel.
They have an obstacle course to do that test their “husbandry”, which includes vacuuming, diaper changes, finding a ring in a sing full of soapy water, and de-clogging a huge sink.
Naturally, Lucas wins the challenge.
He gets one on one time, and I want to like him, he is completely different then that the WHABOOM idiot. But I feel like, I am being duped the whole time he is talking and reading his “poem”. Please. They have a friendly peck, I will not call that making out!
At one point he does his whole whaaboo0m schtick and the response was these blank stares! It was so funny!
Another funny thing I snapshotted – this shot
These guys take those dolls seriously!! These guys already lost, so it is hilarious that they still wore their babies and patted their heads!
Blake decides it is best to alert Rachel to all of Lucas’s downfalls.
Rachel tells us, she isn’t liking how the date is going. Dean gets some time with her, and she says he turned the night around. They really seemed happy and fun together.
Kenny and Rachel chat, and it seems like a good chat. He tells her what he is looking for in his life and his daughters. Rachel tells him that she realizes he is one of the oldest guys there and they both realize they have no time to lose!
Rachel gets the group date rose. She thanks them all. Dean gets the rose.
He walks her out, and they make out.
One on One Date
Peter get’s the date!
Rachel meets Peter with a private jet, and says, someone else is joining them on the date. Copper the adorable dog comes too!
They fly to Palm Springs. They end up going to Barkfest sponsored by BarkBox. It was really cute. They seem so comfortable with each other, not like this is really the first time they have hung out.
Peter starts off dinner with a great toast. Rachel asks about Peter’s parents and what they think about the show. They then bond over the gap in their teeth. It was kind of cute.
Rachel tells us that she feels romance with Peter and hasn’t really with the other guys. Rachel asks why Peter is still single. He hesitates, and then reveals he had a relationship that didn’t go as he thought it would. He went to a relationship therapist. Well another bonding topic, as Rachel went to a therapist as well. I like them.
Rachel gives him the rose. She tells him, that she was drawn to him from the beginning, and wanted him to get the first date. They hug, and she sort of goes in for the kiss. I wasn’t sure if he was going to kiss her, apparently he wasn’t sure either! They walk away and watch a lovely fireworks display. Of course, more making out!
Group Date #2
Will, Jamey, Diggy, Alex, Adam, Lee, Matt, Eric, Josiah, DeMario
Clearly, this will be a basketball date.
Kareem Abdul Jabar is coming to help out on this date. Rachel tells us that she has her eye on DeMario. Meanwhile, he is telling us that he is the front-runner again and is very confident.
Kareem and Rachel chat about their thoughts from the date. Kareem tells the guys that there will be an actual game in front of a packed house.
The white team wins! Some girl comes up to Rachel and tells her that DeMario is her boyfriend. Rachel says she is going to go grab him, Lexi agrees. Of course, he assumes he is getting a rose as do all the guys in the locker room. He walks in and Lexi says “karmas a bitch isn’t it DeMario”…he says who is this?
Rachel confronts him, and he talks in circles basically making no sense, so Rachel sends him home.
Chris tries to talk to Rachel and she is fuming and upset. Honestly, that chick seemed a bit sketchy. I am sure DeMario is a dawg…but she didn’t seem too high and mighty….She obviously wanted to be on TV too!
She goes to the guys and tells them what happened, and they are all like – WHOA….cause of course they all thought DeMario was getting a rose. She tells them, this is real, and she wants to know if anyone else has a girlfriend.
All of the guys feel offended by DeMario and his actions. Rachel tells us that she has to look past the charm and find out who these guys really are.
Josiah and Rachel have a nice chat and make out.
She talks with a lot of the guys and makes out with Eric too. He is another one that I feel like I am getting duped when he talks.
She gives the rose to Josiah. She likes his protective side.
Bryan gives a massage / adjustment
Then we see drama starting to unfold. DeMario is back – it is Chad all over again! In fact, maybe it should have been Chad!!! Producers, you dropped the ball!
Chris comes and talks to him and says well, he will tell Rachel and leave it up to her.
She of course decides that the curiosity killed the cat….and she wants to see what he has to say.
Of course they won’t tell us now! You guys!
I hate To BE CONTINUED!!! UGH. Don’t start that Bachelor Producers! You have 2 hours get it done!
What did ya’ll think of the episode.
My faves so far: Peter, Josiah, Dean (oddly), and Bryan. I can’t honestly remember many other people!
What do you think will go down with DeMario? If you missed the recap from episode 1, you can read it here!
