He is a real estate agent, and feels he is good at what he does and not full of crap, like most real estate agents. He is keeping his expectations low for tonight. Anna is a marketing executive and she is very focused on her career. She is working 80-hour work weeks and a guy just hasn’t fit into that schedule. In her mind, she has this power couple image of who she should be with. Basically, she wants to be a Real Housewife. They proceed to look at each other’s phones and check out their dating profiles. Johnny tells Anna he is divorced and there goes her perfect fantasy? She does think he grew from it, so decision time!

They agree to go on a second date!  These 2 were cute, but I don’t know that I loved them!

Marc & Marcy

Marc says his dating life sucks. Marc sells beauty products and thinks every man should sell them for one year! Marcy has lost 110 pounds and is a single mom who has never been in a relationship and never been told by a guy they love her. He has been married three times and has three kids and Marcy seems turned off by that. Marc then talks about going on a date with a heavier set woman and it was not good. She is offended and talks about losing weight and he was rude saying that. It gets awkward, as they are both not happy.

Marcy goes to the bathroom, but comes back and Marc apologizes. She accepts the apology and they decide to start over with things. Marc talks about his marriages and he was actually cheated on by two of the women. They definitely had a shift in the dynamics and were pleasant by the end of the date.

They decide to not go on a second date.  I left this date feeling odd, I liked them, felt sorry for both of them, wished it had worked out.

Kori Jean & Ben

Kori Jean is a country singer from Nashville. She is Mormon and has saved herself for marriage. She was married for five years and then filed for divorce. Kori Jean is skeptical in blind dates, but wants someone to make her believe in love again. Ben has kept himself so busy with his career that he is now 31 and single. He has only had short term relationships and has never kissed a girl! Ben tells a story of his parents and his dad dying.

They talk about their types and Ben talks about not having much experience. He mentions never being kissed before and Kori Jean seems a little shocked. She was not, as she liked that idea, especially since she is saving herself again for marriage. Ben is super cute and said he would definitely want to kiss Kori jean!

Brandon & Anya

First Dates Episode 8 ~ www.fabulousindeed.com

Brandon says when people first meet him they think he is gay. Brandon is a vegan chef and wants someone that can match his energy and enjoy kale! Anya said she has dated all different types of guys and is open to anyone. Well, this one shocked me! Brandon talks about being attracted to humans and then said he is trans! Brandon talks about how people ask him on a daily basis if he has a penis, probably not a good thing to do people. Anya said love starts with self-love. She is apparently into poems, so reads one for Brandon.

They believe they connect on a human level. Anya totally wants a second date and has a huge crush on him, but Brandon said they were totally friends. He wants to hang out again and be friends and she is loving that.

Chantel & Eddie

First Dates Episode 8 ~ www.fabulousindeed.com

First Dates Episode 8 ~ www.fabulousindeed.com

Chantel is looking for a gentleman who will treat her special. Eddie is a deejay and he falls in love with a drop of the beat! Her boyfriend hurt her, so she has walls built up now and some guys don’t get in. Eddie is a flirt, and being a deejay makes that easy. They sit down for dinner and he asks about allergies and Chantel is allergic to nuts. They order their meal and Eddie asks if anything has nuts in it as they have a nut allergy, which Chantel is loving that he asked!

Kissing is a topic for them also and Chantel doesn’t kiss! She wants to be kissing her best friend and not a random hookup. Apparently both of their mothers had breast cancer and they share their stories. We find out in the confession room that Eddie’s mother actually didn’t make it with her cancer battle! They chat some more and he is flirting and doing all the right things.

There was a lot of good in this episode, but the Marc and Marcy date was so awkward that I had a difficult time watching it! Ha ha.

Miranda – It was painful, indeed!! I do have to give it to them for turning it around somewhat though – as both were ready to ditch it early on – but they admitted that they were being jerky, and were grown ups and finished the dinner…
