I know that Episode 8 played this week, but I still need to post about Episode 7 – which I got to watch with Crystal!! So cool, I don’t think we have ever watched this show together!
We start off the episode with Rachel telling the guys that there will be no rose ceremony this week (GASP) and that there will be 3 1 on 1 dates and 1 3 on 1 date, shew say that 10 times fast! I dare you!
They go to Switzerland! Nice!
Bryan and Rachel 1 on 1
First up is Bryan and a 1 on 1 date! Who is shocked? I’m not 🙂 They end up going on a very high end date – and drive a Bentley and she buys him a fancy pants watch – you know they are in Switzerland after all. She decides, to get herself a matching watch too! Crystal and I debated if she actually paid? I think the show does sometimes, but it was such a topic of discussion, I think she DID actually pay! I remember a few years ago – one of The Bachelors made a big deal about paying for the ring as opposed to the show, no idea who it was, but I remember it being a big deal at the time. Anyone remember this? Of course they make out!
Rachel asks Bryan about his family and his last relationship. They both went to private schools. He says some very vague things about his last relationship and that they broke up because of his mother. I didn’t really follow that whole thing, and if I were Rachel, I would have asked what that meant, which I am sure she did, but the Producers didn’t want us to know, apparently.
He gets the rose and she says she wants to meet his family.
Dean and Rachel 1 on 1
Dean gets another 1 on 1 and it says “Put on your Sunday Best”, it was so funny – he turns to Adam and says “don’t punch me in the face” – they had just been discussing how anxious everyone was to get a 1 on 1!
They go to old town Geneva and go to church. Rachel says that church is important to her, because of community not because of religion. Dean was very pensive this whole date, it made it very awkward. He of course tells us, he is very worried about bringing Rachel to his home, since it is pretty dysfunctional since his mom died. Rachel tells him that something seemed off during the date. He tries to joke it off. Poor guy, he is really worried. He finally, tells her what he is feeling, and she takes it like a champ! He says he knows family is very important to Rachel and his family dynamic isn’t normal. He gets the rose!
Peter and Rachel 1 on 1
They like to fly apparently, they take a helicopter to the Alps! Cool! They take a dogsled on Glacier 3000. Peter seems a bit off too, and says that things have been hard on him and some days he doesn’t think he wants to stay. I think I missed something in my notes as the next thing I wrote is: They make out. I am sure they talked it out – but I must not have been that impressed by the conversation, or I was so into it – I forgot to write anything down! Who knows!
Rachel brings up race, as I am sure the Producers prodded her to do, Peter assures her race will not be an issue. She asks about his last girlfriend, and Peter gets very emotional and says she was all in and he wasn’t, and he felt like he broke her heart. Again – I am sure they talked further, but the Producers didn’t give us much more.
He gets a rose.
3 on 1 Date
The card said “Tomorrow will be difficult, I don’t know what else to say!”
They go to France. We have Adam, Eric and Matt.
We first see Rachel with Matt – she tells him that he reminds her of herself and she has a place for him in her heart. Oh no, that isn’t good! She cries and sends him home.
Now Rachel is with Adam – omg he says “like” too much, like way too much! That is seriously the only thing I wrote down. She sends him home.
Now with Eric – his grammar drove us crazy. “done seen”. Please don’t! Eric tells her that he has never brought a girl home before and about his life in Baltimore (Maryland represent!). Oh well, not the best part of Maryland. Eric gets the rose.
Goodbye Adam and Matt – I am sure we will see you in Paradise.
The final four: Dean, Peter, Bryan and Eric
I promise to watch Episode 8 and share it, before Episode 9 airs!!
