So as I revealed last week that I love all things Pumpkin Spice, well did I say I love all things pumpkin spice? Well if not, I did now 🙂 I love Pumpkin Spice. Since doing the Ketogenic diet, Russell and I have missed the Pumpkin Spice Creamer that I used to buy. They do sell a sugar-free version (full of chemicals, I probably don’t want), so I decided to try to make my own.
I took Heavy Cream, a couple of spoons of pumpkin puree (not pie filling!) and a good bit of pumpkin pie spice. I have now made it a few times. I decided to take pictures this morning, and share them with all of you fine folks!
The Pumpkin Puree can has more than you need for one batch, I finished this off this morning in my double batch – so the 4th quart of creamer I have made. It is a bit more pumpkin-y than before, but I still liked it!
Today is the first time that I made it in this OUT OF FOCUS pitcher! Before I had just been reusing my Stok Iced Coffee container and shaking the living daylights out of it! (By the way – have you had the Stok Iced Coffee? I am in love!). Be sure to get the unsweetened!
If you make this, know that it is pretty thick! I have used it in Iced Coffee and Hot Coffee – Russell only does Hot Coffee….and the residue it leaves behind in the cups, at first is a bit bizarre. I am used to it though!
